Bea-YOU-tiful

DOWNLOAD POST HERE         OK! I wanna cut some slack on modest dressing. Seriously, I was trying to get the Gospel across to an unbelieving friend. She made few points about Jesus Christ not being the Son of God and even if He is, we should worship the Father and not the Son! Well, dumbfounded but I guess I give that up to the Holy Spirit to convince and convert her. That said, she also said something else. She said, “Tell me what you want: to join you in dancing in church or nakedness. I’m very interested in knowing about your religion because I see you are good in preaching.”

SPIRITUAL WORKOUT

DOWNLOAD POST HERE              I have a very tall and handsome cousin. He is well-built and fit. He is in very good shape and does a lot of exercise that’s because he gyms every evening. I am not a sporty person, though I am thinking of trying out at something new. I remember when I was in secondary school. Every Saturday morning, before the morning prayers,

MY LIL LOVE MESSAGE

DOWNLOAD POST HERE You know i love you, right? Just give me a few minutes of your time to prove my love to you. Read this:               God loves you. The Bible tells us so. The problem is that all of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called SIN, and our sins have separated us from God. The Good news is that, about 2,000 years ago God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

LEARN AND DO

DOWNLOAD POST HERE      Recently, I have been reminded to start living what I learn. You know, it is not just enough to go to school but to actually put to practice what you have learned. The Bible is very clear about DOING and not just HEARING or STUDYING. Christ’s Salvation is not just about the knowledge. It is the Experience.

What you need to know

Did you know that you are an artery? A weird concept, but a true one. An artery connects the heart with the rest of the parts of the body. It supplies the hands, the feet, the liver, etc., with the necessary life to perform their functions. Right next to the heart, it gets to feel the pumping blood and carry it to the rest of the body. You are an artery next to the heart of God pumping life out to those you meet. In being intimate with God through prayer, worship, pouring out your heart, and obeying Him, you automatically hear the beat of His heart and start to carry His life out to those around you. People have so many needs, so many hurts, and God’s life can—and wants to—make them alive. How can you be close to God? Just take a moment to saddle up next to Him. Think of a little kid tugging on the sleeve of his father. The father may have a million things to do, but his kid’s needs at that moment are the most important  to Him. What is troubling you? Is it f

REFLECTIONS

I love new beginnings especially new sessions. As a student, a new session means another chance to make things better. To grow to become a better friend, sister, student and colleague. I look forward to correct my wrongs and employ new habits and attitudes. I wrote this short article to encourage you towards new beginnings.        As we look up the calendar of a new activity, we come face-to-face with the fact that our days are numbered in life. As the Psalmist wrote, “Teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” No thoughtful person can start anything without some introspection. We are reminded of the brevity of time. We also look back over our failures, mistakes and lost opoportunities and vow that we will make better use of our time during the new session. Failures in academics, morals, spiritual and religious affairs, physical and social standards. However, very few people ever take into consideration the relationships they had failed in. Relationships
