DOWNLOAD POST HERE     I just saw a post this evening and it spurred me to write this: Jesus Christ came to earth so many years ago and He was born of a virgin. He came for the salvation of mankind. For this reason, the most quoted Bible verse reads :"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."(John 3:16)

I’ll like to share with you an Old Testament example that symbolizes in a physical way, our spiritual condition. The example relates to the cleansing of a leper and is recorded in Leviticus 13-14. Here is what happened.

We read in the book of Genesis, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth” (Gen. 1:26). They had a divine mandate and legal right to rule over the earth for the glory of God. But

The *Gregs’ house was burgled recently and God revealed a spiritual truth from the event. The Bible says, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…”John 10:10. And of course, those thieves stole from them and destroyed their property though no life was lost and all thanks to God for His protection. However, God drew my attention to something very important and applicable to our spiritual lives.

After the picture above of Bre and her husband, Josh, went viral, Bre decided to start a blog called The Power of Prayer to share the story behind the picture. Sexual purity isn't easy today. But God calls us to save sexual intimacy for the covenant relationship of marriage. Hebrews 13:4 says, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral." For those who have disobeyed God's command there is grace and forgiveness through Jesus. And this same grace should motivate all of us--regardless of our past mistakes--to be holy as our loving heavenly father is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16).           My lover held a strange charm over me. She made me chase false dreams that I knew would fade away. She kept me chained to a lust that finally destroyed me. She forced me into compromises that weakened me. Her promises of true love ended up only as a mirage. And, even though I knew I would keep on getting hurt, I followed the dictates of my evil mind like an obedient slave. She did not do this literally but our relationship caused all this. She was an unbeliever and though I was born into a Christian home, I was in a relationship with her because I did not see anything wrong with it.
